I bought my Baby Jogger City Double Mini car last year after looking at different double strollers. For some reason there are side by side with the unions stroller almost impossible. It also happens to be one of the features I was really so obvious, I bought the trays as they come available. The compartments attached to the belly bar with Velcro. I was a little worried that they would not have Velcro on securely, but they are actually wearing a very tight with adjustable velcro loop. The washers are also rather robust. They may be higher or lower, because the adjustable belly bar. My number is 15 months old and even the lower position of the tray is a bit high. I would not recommend the trays for small children. They have a lot more and higher than the amount you would only see a stroller tray attached.
Overall, unions are good and will come in handy but I think it's pretty ridiculous that it costs upwards of $ 80.00 just to get a stroller trays $ 350.00 ..
If you only plan to use one at a time they would be okay but that does not put them together at all. There is not enough space on the bar and the tray is inclined so bad that the food rolls to the side and it spills over. If the bar all the way down the trays sit high up so the child can barely see over them. It is not only very well made, with much of the trolley and accessories of the product should be made to better fit.
The double stroller and bought the belly bar and two washers so that our 18 months old the couple's own lives when we were out. Without trays, after I had to keep food out of my hand take them out and could not do anything during my meals when we were out somewhere. Major pain. I thought that unions would be a simple answer. There is nothing wrong with unions. They are both suitable and easily attached to many even though it is an extra step or two to remove it and think about how many times we take car in and out of the car. Not a big problem, however. The problem with the unions are so high, can not see my children, even the food on the tray. It sits above the eye. They do not know that the food there and I still keep food out for them. Even with the cup holders on the tray a problem.They can not see the room where the cup holder for his coffee in and then they are unable to take their cups up and out of its slot because it is so far above them. It would be great if car seats fully upright sitting to give them any further attention to the union but unfortunately not the case. I think it can work well tray for the older children (who would probably use the smaller pieces) but they are not only works for young children. It is a shame and in our case, a waste of money ..
